New York XXXX coffee is designed especially for milk-based coffee specialties such as cappuccino and latte. Like all premium coffees from the New York roastery, it stands out with a strong, distinctive flavor with delicate chocolate notes and a velvety aftertaste. It is a blend of 80% Arabica and 20% Robusta, including a share of the highly prized Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee. It is recommended for true coffee gourmets. Due to its slightly higher caffeine content, it is suitable for daytime consumption, while a milder coffee is recommended in the evening.

Origin of Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee:
The beans come from high-altitude Arabica plantations. To be labeled as Jamaica Blue Mountain, coffee must be grown at elevations up to 1,800 meters in the southern part of Jamaica, covering about 6,000 hectares. Around 25,000 small farmers cultivate coffee in the Blue Mountains. The production is strictly controlled by the Jamaica Coffee Industry Board. Due to extremely limited production, most of the coffee is exported to Japan, making it a rare and exclusive delicacy.

Caffè New York is a family roastery with more than 80 years of tradition. It was founded in the spa town of Montecatini Terme in Tuscany by Ugo Incerpi, who purchased a coffee roasting machine in the early 1930s to offer a special product to spa visitors. The coffee quickly gained popularity, attracting customers even from Florence on weekends.

Since the 1930s, the brand has featured a black woman logo on its packaging, which remains in use today. In the 1950s and 1960s, the founder’s son, Onori Oscar, expanded the business significantly, allowing it to compete with major Italian roasters. The tradition continues today into the third generation, preserving the original family approach to coffee making.
