What is Moka?
Moka (Moka Express) is a coffee-making device based on the principle of brewing coffee using steam pressure. It differs from both classic coffee preparation and espresso machines that use high pressure, which is why the term “moka” became established.

How to prepare moka coffee:

• Fill the bottom chamber with water up to the valve level
• Fill the funnel with ground coffee (do not tamp)
• Screw on the top part tightly
• Heat on low flame

After a few minutes, steam pressure pushes hot water through the coffee into the upper chamber. The safety valve prevents overpressure if the filter becomes clogged.
